Our Lady of La Salette Sanctuary
The sanctuary Our Lady of La Salette is located behind the parish church in Sheila at 934 rue Louis G. Daigle. Masses are celebrated on Sundays at 10:00. The sanctuary was built in 1977 by Reverend Stanislas Dionne. This prayer site is a reproduction of the apparition of Our Lady of La Salette in the French Alps in 1846. This is why we see mountains rising above a big lighted cross with several statues representing the apparition. The activities that are held here start around Father's Day of June and end with the parish picnic (1st Sunday in September)
