L'Académie Sainte-Famille
This building was built at the beginning of the 20th century and was originally a school and a boarding school that was run by the Religieuses Hospitalières de St-Joseph. This beautiful building is now managed by a non-profit corporation. The Historic Museum of Tracadie occupies a part of this building. The museum explains in great detail the Tracadie Lazaret which was a hospital that treated lepers until 1965.
