Fire Department
The fire department is made up of approximately 35 firefighters both full and part time. They are currently responding to calls for service from two stations located in Tracadie and Tracadie Beach. Our firefighters respond to many different types of emergencies such as fires, motor vehicle accidents, off-road vehicle accidents, hazardous material spills, water rescue, auto extraction (jaws of life), just to name a few.
Our firefighters are required to pass a physical aptitude test and they attend ongoing and continuous training to keep their skills at the high level required to adequately serve and protect the citizens of the Municipalité régionale de Tracadie.
